I was born in Raleigh, NC on December 13.  I am the proud mother of five beautiful children.  I have several interests, but at the top of my list is reading and watching movies and television.  My main goal is to keep getting closer and closer to Christ and also to learn from my mistakes.

My favorite scripture is Psalms 46:1, which says “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”  I don’t have a favorite book, because I have read many and I love them all.

The Women of Character Book Club has had a great impact on my life.  When I was first asked to join the book club, I was hesitant because I felt that I did not have the time to read.  My life seemed to be so rushed with the kid’s activities and my responsibilities with the church.  But the Spirit pushed me and I am so glad He did. Women of Character has given me back my love of reading. The Book Club allows me to take time out for myself again to read and to fellowship with other women.  I thank God for giving Jenelle the vision to start this book club.
